What is the imece summit?

2020 was a year of multifaceted transformation. The sense of urgency for a better society and planet has been accelerating the removal of the barriers between the business world, public organizations, civil society, and the worlds of enterpreneurship and social innovation. In this summit we will be offering a platform for creating collective knowledge through the blending of local and global knowledge, thinking together and learning from each other, and come together in panels, talks, workshops, roundtable discussions, as well as networking and transfer learning sessions.

Who organized the imece summit?

With Zorlu Holding as the host, ATÖLYE, BMW Foundation, B Lab Europe, S360 and Social Innovation Exchange (SIX) as content and network partners, Ashoka Turkey, Impact Hub Istanbul, İstasyon TEDÜ, KUSIF, Mikado, SDGIA and TSGA as session partners and De-Coder as the curator, the imece summit will be coordinated by imece.

Where was the event held?

All sessions were held online. The public sessions were broadcasted live on the Harvard Business Review platform, and the workshops that require interactive participation were conducted on Zoom.

Which language was used in the sessions?

The language of the sessions held on the Harvard Business Review platform varied depending on the speaker, however there were simultaneous English and Turkish translations available. Participants were able to follow these sessions using the English/Turkish language option.

Will we be able to watch imece summit session recordings later?

Yes, the session recordings will be published on imece’s youtube page in the coming months. You can register on our youtube page to get information when it is published, open notifications and follow imece platform social media accounts.
