Operating in more than 100 centers and 60 countries around the world, Impact Hub is a platform which brings the impact driven changemakers together and provides the collaborative environment they need. Serving as a member of the global  Impact Hub network, Impact Hub Istanbul designs collaborations with influential  partners and provides programs, events, mentorship, office areas and networking support for social entrepreneurs and impact oriented individuals and institutions. The Impact Hub membership is based on a system that consists of people from a wide variety of disciplines like entrepreneurs, consultants, investors, software developers, designers, artists, creatives, and freelancers. IstasyonTEDU, TED University Center for Social Innovation, founded in April 2016, is a not-for-profit social incubator and an open collaborative space located at Ankara’s city center. lstasyonTEDU supports social entrepreneurs through its incubation and capacity-building programs providing access to office space, meeting facilities, community and network as well as training opportunities. The Center also contributes to research and network projects in the fields of social innovation, social entrepreneurship and social finance, provides training, hosts/organizes ecosystem building events, and coordinates policy dialogue meetings in collaboration with other ecosystem actors in Ankara.

Koç University Social Impact Forum (KUSIF) was founded in 2012 within Koç University as a research and practice center on social impact to foster social innovation through research, education and collaboration.  KUSIF is one of the leading organizations on social impact field in Turkey and has become a reference point in social impact studies. KUSIF has been leading the Turkish Social Impact Group and working to set standards for social impact measurement and management in Turkey.

KUSIF has a special focus on social entrepreneurship as we consider social entrepreneurs are one of the important and new social impact actors in Turkey. In this regard, KUSIF has been leading and partnering in various social entrepreneurship projects on ecosystem development, capacity building, access to social finance, and investment readiness. KUSIF launched Social Impact Lab at Koç University in 2018 to create a common space where students interested in social entrepreneurship can come together, providing an incubation service to young social entrepreneurs such as mentorship, network and intense training. Additionally, KUSIF team has been co-teaching social entrepreneurship and social impact courses at Koç University since 2015.

The Turkey Social Entrepreneurship Network (TSGA) aims to strengthen the social entrepreneurship ecosystem; and help the spread of social entrepreneurship as an alternative solution to social, economic and environmental problems in Turkey. To achieve this goal, TSGA carries out activities to meet the need for information, connectivity and visibility that social entrepreneurs need and increase awareness of social entrepreneurship.

The TSGA Network established a social entrepreneurship platform as a result of the project, and eager to continue its ecosystem-level efforts through this platform: Currently, the founding partners are focusing on institutionalising the TSGA network to include all ecosystem partners and sustain the growth of social entrepreneurship in Turkey.

In 2019, UNDP built the world’s largest and fastest learning network on sustainable development challenges. UNDP Accelerator Labs started with 60 Lab teams covering 78 countries and are now expanding to 90 Labs covering 114 countries. They are part of UNDP’s global policy teams and country offices. The Accelerator Labs are designed to close the gap between the current practices of international development in an accelerated pace of change. They model a new capability to make breakthroughs on the future of development: inequality, decarbonization, the 4th industrial revolution and new forms of governance.
